Since I carry a tote bag to work besides my car keys, wallet and cell phone, I literally have 11 summer beauty essentials in my work bag that are my holy grail products in the summer heat.
Now each of these 11 summer beauty essentials in my work bag serve a purpose because of the kind of weather we have in Pakistan, so I’ve organized these products as per their usage and also to avoid taking up extra space by stuffing my bag with unnecessary things.
Who doesn’t love makeup? I’m kind of excited to share the list of products that I carry because these 11 summer beauty essentials in my work bag, besides making me look awesome, also take care of my skin as well.
LIP & CHEEK TINT
A tint is the perfect solution for your cheeks and lips that isn’t too heavy or dark for summer and can give you an over all blended look in both places. The best part is you don’t have to worry about carrying two products around with this 2 in 1 product.
SUNSCREEN
A good sunscreen is vital for a healthy skin over all regardless of whether it’s summer or winter, you should never leave the house without wearing some. And since the UV rays in summer are much harsher so applying and reapplying your sunscreen throughout the day is a great way. Here are some SPF do’s and don’ts.
PERFUME/DEODORANT
The summer sweat can get very nasty so you don’t want to freak out your colleagues as they saunter away from the bad body odour, which obviously isn’t your fault. Which is why you need to carry a perfume that is long lasting or a deodorant that you can instantly use every time you’re out and about.
DRY SHAMPOO
Summers call for a oily scalp and your hair absorb all that oil leaving your hair smelly also so you don’t want to feel awkward in front of others when your hair fall flat, therefore carry a good dry shampoo all the time for some volume.
OIL FREE MOISTURIZER/ HYDRATING GEL
Never say no to good skincare. Never. And no matter what the seasons is, moisturizing and hydrating your skin should be your #1 priority apart from drinking lots of water.
HAND CREAM
To counter the dryness and chapped skin since we’re washing our hands and using the hand sanitizer all the time due to Covid19, therefore a good nourishing and hydrating hand cream should always be in your bag.
HAIR ACCESSORIES
Cool and funky hair ties, hair bands, hair clips – you name it, just carry those in your bags in case you want to manage your locks in this humid weather. A lot of times you might not be able to carry a hair mist or serum to tackle that frizz so you can tie them up or down, or wear a hair band or clip to not look out of place.
WATERPROOF MASCARA
If you don’t want to worry about raccoon eyes, which are common in summer, switch your mascara to a waterproof product. You’ll have one less thing to worry about and it’s easy to remove with some hydrating oil or micellar water.
BLOTTING PAPER
These small packages come in so handy when you want to touch up. Simply take one and blot your upper lip, forehead and anywhere else you may get extra dewey, and around the T-zone.

If you’re wearing a CC cream or even a light foundation (and may we suggest that you for a mousse foundation instead of a creamy or powder one so you don’t look like you’re melting or drying up, if you know what I mean), at a 9-5 job you might need a mattifying compact powder for some touch ups even if you’re using a blotting paper.
