Honestly now that I have to wear a face mask, I don’t even think about wearing makeup since half of my face is covered. However with the ease in the lockdown, and the fact that we’re getting vaccinated, my boss wants me to come to work (sigh!) and my friends want to meet, so now I do want to amp up my look and feel great about my appearance whenever I’m stepping out!
I love experimenting with new fashion and beauty trends, so I’ve worn all kinds of face masks to trying on new hair styles except for makeup. So I looked up some easy-to-do 5 daytime eye makeup looks with a face mask on.
This summer season has some very cool beauty and makeup trends and while I’m already on it, I’ve shortlisted those 5 daytime easy makeup looks with a face mask on for us ladies to try.
EYE LIFT
If you want to look wide awake, ditch the eyeliner and throw in some color in your waterline or the regular white color. And don’t forget to add some volumizing mascara to give a falsies effect and fluff those eyebrows to give symmetry to your look.
COLORED MASCARA
Colored mascara can accent your eyes in a way that you never thought off. From electric blue to bright green, yellow and pink, colored lashes can make a statement like no other. This summer don’t stop experimenting with funky makeup looks!
BRIGHT AND BLOWN OUT EYESHADHOW
Bright and blown out eye shadow is a statement look that makes eye shadow the focal point by blending pigment past the outer corner of your eye. Opt for never-worn-before shade this season like bright pink, lime or even blue and let your eyes do the talking.
NEGATIVE SPACE CUT CREASE EYELINER
This dramatic eye makeup trend is fabulous to the T and we love the graphic effect this technique has. It does look a tad difficult but the trick to define the shape of your eyes by applying the eyeliner on the crease of your lid while leaving a blank space in the middle of your lid. And to add that pop, go for bright colors.
INNER CORNER HIGHLIGHT
Whether you choose to go with a subtle rose gold or pearl, we’d love if you went a bit daring and applied a bright colored highlight to add that must-have pop to accentuate your eyes. It will illuminate your gaze!
