A brand-new evolving channel Green Entertainment has been in the production for a while. The channel aim to concentrate on presenting unconventional dramas and screenplays that are typically absent from other drama networks.
Green Entertainment will finally premiere in April, and we will get to see our favorite stars in completely different avatars for upcoming series. The first drama trailer “101 Talaqain” has been released with a big bang! With an oh so ensemble cast portraying Zahid Ahmed as the main lead along with a stellar star cast.
Zahid Ahmed with a very unique appearance: The trailer shows Zahid Ahmed in his versatile and never seen before character. He can be seen playing an impactful Divorce Lawyer, who goes by the name of Rustom Kavasji with impressive screen presence decoding dynamics of broken marriages with oh so strong dialogues that are relatable and leave a mark on heart of people. There’s something distinctive about him, something that connects. The character is witty who is trying his best to stop people from taking a divorce and takes a unique spin on relationships.

Production Value of the Show: As evident from the trailer, the series production value is high quality with each scene has its own exclusivity and objective. With eye catching dramatic screenplay, relatable and close to real life locations, impactful characters and dialogues that people can relate to – one that come off as genuine like you can understand exactly what and why they are doing, as it’s exactly what we would say in similar situations.
The Storyline: Written and directed by Omer Ikram, the story as seems from the trailer, revolves around divorce, a topic that has been used wisely (never seen and done before in Pakistan). It takes courage to pick such a sensitive taboo topic and portray it in such a light blend with relatable scenarios along with touch of wit. We cannot wait to see how the show will actually pan out and how sensibly the topic has been addressed.
Ensemble Star Cast: The show has a HUGE stellar cast with industry’s big names like Naveen Waqar, Anoushay Abbasi, Usama Khan, Zubab Rana, Faris Khalid, Yasir Nawaz and Sana Askari. Each star fits well to essence of their character.

So far, with all the content released by Green Entertainment, we are curious to see what sort of other shows to they have in the line up for us. We feel its going to be a fresh take on entertainment industry and something different. So far, we really feel, its going to be like OTT platform, but for the television with unique story lines.
All in all, 101 Talaqain seems true to be roller coaster ride of emotions, with and mischief and we can’t wait to see more of it… Can you?
