TANDOORI CHAI
Desi’s love Tandoori Chai for it’s smokey flavor because it’s made in a clay pot that’s usually put in a hot tandoor for the chai to absorb for all the flavors. Usually it’s paired with a garlic naan or a hot tandoor ki roti to add to the taste.
MASALA CHAI
Masala Chai or spiced chai s a brew of spices and aromatic herbs with the regular chai ingredients and is a hit on the rainy season. Elaichi, daalcheeni, star anise, pepper corns etc made it a wholesome blend.
ADRAK WALI CHAI
Adrak Wali Chai is super easy to make and you just need milk, water, tea leaves, ginger and sugar for this recipe. You can even add gurr instead of sugar to make the tea healthier. And we all know that adrak has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Gala kharab? Have adrak wali chai, it boosts your immune system.
KASHMIRI CHAI
Kashmiri Chai or Noon Tea – what the Kashmiri’s like to call it has a rich and creamy flavor to it. A qehwa (tea base) is first prepared with Kashmiri or Green Tea leaves and whole spices like star anise, cinnamon, cloves and green cardamon. And then the qehwa is boiled with milk and sugar (now otherwise it’s made with salt) to make the tea. People like to add a blend of different nuts also. A favorite in winter weddings and paired with gajar ka halwa is a must.
ELAICHI CHAI
Elaichi has umpteen benefits and is used to enhance the flavour in various sweets, desserts. It helps in digestion, reduces gas and also acts as a mouth fresher so imagine how robust will the flavors of Elaichi Chai would be.
CHOCOALTE CHAI
Who doesn’t love chocolate? So a combo of nicotine (less amount, but an addictive substance nonetheless) makes this a delicious combo.
KAALI CHAI
It’s strong and vicious (at times) and it wakes you up. Generally people like to have it alone because it tastes great, but you can have it with milk and sugar also!
