The 8th Hum Awards 2022 was a glamorous affair in Ontario, Canada and the red carpet was bedazzling with our stars to rejoice, celebrate and honour the entertainment fraternity.

An absolute stunner, Mahira turned heads for how ethereal she looked. Even though I truly hoped she had experimented with her hair and makeup, a smokey look maybe with nude lips. Nevertheless, Mahira Khan was gorgeous.

I was pleasantly surprised by Saboor Aly, the hair, makeup – and the Sania Maskatiya look was one chic look!

Iqra’s personality shined in that love Nomi Ansari outfit, it was fun and lovely to carry and I’m so glad Iqra let her hair down and kept her makeup minimal. The dress and Iqra did the rest of the talking!

Ushna was seen a in a deep red gown by Asim Jofa and frankly it was just a bland look. There was nothing about her look from the cut, to the hairstyle and makeup either.
AYEZA KHAN
The stunning Abhinav Mishra lehnga-choli that’s been worn by Janhvi Kapoor was was customized for Ayeza and she worn it with a cape. What was odd was the fitting of the choli like it was made last minute and Ayeza looked uncomfortable in it.

Another year and yet another sari look for Hania Amir. She was last seen in a rose gold sari at the PISA Awards 2021 and 365 days later, we’re back to looking, umm, okay with minimal makeup and a center parting bun!

The same can be said for Sonya Hussyn as well, another year of wearing a sari (from a copper-ish / rust look to a powder pink tone) which we thought was alright, however props to the glamorous blow dry and makeup!

Aymen Saleem was seen in a Gauruv Gupta dress and all I could think about was Ananya Panday. The 19 year old has pizzazz and while (we’re not talking bout age here), somehow Aymen couldn’t really pull off a high-fashion look!
