For them, shopping is a necessity, a sanctum, an adventure, or simply put: a glorious way of life. So you’ll find all the types of shoppers and believe you me the list is long.
So we jotted down the most common types of shoppers you meet in bazar’s and shopping malls.

THE IMPULSIVE BUYER
These women are aggressively dedicated to the art (think: martial arts) of shopping. During sales, you will find them elbowing others, pushing forward, lunging for the rack of silk kurtas. Putting the skills of John Cena to shame, they manage to get their desired items without a care in the world.
THE ONE WHO LOVES TO BROWSE
You will find these ladies strolling through the lanes of Al-Fattah, Y block and every other shopping mall. Breezily pushing forward their (nearly empty) trolleys, this type hardly buys anything but will examine everything in a store: from locally made charcoal soaps to imported cookies – your gal’s got her eyes surveying everything.
PAKISTAN’S NEXT TOP MODEL
Ahhh, this type you will find in abundance: sporting the latest (and dare we say, trendiest) lawn-wear, hair straightened to perfection, and contour set in place. You will find these strolling through the lanes of Liberty Market, eyes discreetly scanning the items there – thinking about what could pass off as designer wear?
THE “UNSATISFIED” SHOPPER
Subject consists of a group of aunties that appear to be sullen – but nobody knows why. They move together, and attack the poor salesmen together. Demanding every roll of cloth to be unfolded and put out before them on display, they are never happy with what’s being shown and keep repeating, “Kuchh naya dikhayain, Bhai…”.
THE NEED-BASED SHOPPER
After running our silent surveys in the markets of Lahore, we have reached the conclusion that this breed is indeed very rare (thus, very precious), but it does exist, indeed. It’s the type that knows what to buy, and from where. She goes to the intended store, selects the desired item(s), does not haggle for a discount, but just pays the bill, and leaves. Wow, right?
THE ONE WHO BARGAINS
These shoppers are like looking for the best deals, therefore they will go out of their way to get the lowest price possible.
THE ANALYST
The one who sits on the chair and checks out every outfit because she’s done her research so she’s not afraid to take her time and others.
THE EARLY BIRD
They follow all the top fashion influencers and trends, and are always the first amongst their friends to shop the latest and lit items.
THE EXPERIENCED SHOPPER
This person knows what they want and all the right stores for it. They’ll even know the prices so they’ll guide you the best when it comes to having a wholesome shopping experience.
