How can you even detox your body in just 1 day? I mean like, is that even possible?
Well I’m sure these random thoughts may have clouded your mind, thinking, who are we even kidding? But guess what, everything’s possible when you want to hit the reset button.
So how does one manage to detox your body in just 1 day?
Honestly, it’s not a miracle, and that nothing ever happens over night, because everything takes time and a process has to be followed. But yes, if you’re given a do-over, to detox your body in just 1 day is like taking a start to a process push yourself so you can make healthy choices for your mind, soul and body.
So here’s a one day diet plan to kick-start the detoxification of your body.
START THE DAY WITH A DETOX DRINK
The common and most effective detox drink is some warm lemon water with honey to clean your gut. It boosts your metabolism and restrains those food cravings as well. And you’ll instantly feel refreshed.
HAVE BREAKFAST
Now that doesn’t mean you hog on carbs like breads and cereals or anything instant. How about a nice fresh smoothie or some eggs and avocado to get you going. Keep it fulfilling and light. Proteins keep your satisfied while carbs make you regret. Moderation is the key to a body cleanse.
DON’T SKIP YOUR MEALS
Whether it’s your breakfast, lunch or dinner, DO NOT SKIP YOUR MEALS and enjoy wholesome foods. Veggies, proteins, fish, eggs, meats, nuts, healthy fats, no matter how you choose to have your meals, skipping them will detract your body goal. And try to avoid foods that bloat you like carbonated drinks, dairy and starchy foods.
SNACKING IN THE AFTERNOON
The Pakistani household cannot survive without “shaam ki chai” with snacks, and we won’t ask you to skip it either, have some green tea instead or replace white sugar with tea sweeteners or some brown sugar and cut back on those fried snacks in front of you.
BE ACTIVE
Be active, yes! Whether you decide to go for a morning or evening walk, or hit the gym, sweat and give your heart rate a boost and flush those toxins out of your body by increasing the blood flow in your body.
See, day 1 wasn’t all that bad, was it? 🙂
