Fahad Hussayn’s latest bridal collection, set to be showcased at the PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week 2015, is titled ‘Matam- Novelty Couture- F/W 15-16’. ‘Matam’ features exclusive novelty couture wedding creations that feature both menswear and womenswear. Fahad’s showcase features exclusive and unique music as well. His collection will be presented on a custom track that has been created in association with Ali Sethi and has been produced by Saad Sultan.
Speaking exclusively about the collection to SiddySays, Fahad Hussayn said, “I’m really excited about presenting our collection ‘Matam- Novelty Couture- F/W 15-16’. The collection has been under process for about a year and it is always very exciting to see how people perceive your hard work! I’m really looking forward to it.”
Matam is a collection that works with a variety of dramatic colors and thoughtful craftsmanship. From what we hear, the entire collection revolves around the anarchy at weddings and their evolution into a spectacle of sorts. Drawing inspiration from Chiniot and its world renowned craft for wooden carvings, murals and architecture to its historical importance, the collection features signature silk thread embroideries, interlaced with delicate handiwork on custom delicate nets, organza, tissue, chiffon and unique knitted metal thread fabric specially prepped for this collection. The collection works with classic and minimal cuts in a variety of lengths and layers that can be used to create customised bridal looks for each individual.
Here is wishing Fahad Hussayn all the best for his upcoming showcase.
