Mahira Khan and Zahid Ahmed are seen together for the first time
This is the first time Mahira Khan and Zahid Ahmed are paired together. The two powerhouse performers shine in their respective roles. Mahira plays the character of the wife who yearns for her husband’s love but has to neglect her desires to tend to the needs of her family. Zahid portrays two versions of the same character; a husband who is crazy about his wife, one who recites poetry for her, still steals moments from his day and fills it with love and attention. Then there’s the husband who is immersed in work, and expects his wife to prepare his breakfast, and send him to office. Like most men of our society, they have no time for their wives.

The project is actor Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui’s debut as a filmmaker. The promising actor who has proved his craft as an actor with projects like Paray Hut Love, Pehli Si Muhabbat, Zindagi Gulzar Hai among others has gone behind the camera for the first time. Safe to say, his first outing as a director is promising, assured, and mature. It is also worth mentioning that the actor chose a topic that is sensitive, intense and needs to be discussed in the times that we live in today.

The premise of the film is post-marital depression which has been highlighted beautifully with the perfect cinematic flair. This short 12 minute watch conveys the strong message of depression after marriage that both the husband and wife can through with a beautiful, thought-provoking poetic manner. The dark and intense look of the film really adds to the whole experience.

Lastly, Prince Charming has a lesson for both the men and the women. The women need to speak up if they find themselves in a situation like that and the men need to make sure their wives never find themselves in a situation like that in the first place by paying attention to their wives and never stop showing how much they mean to them.
