Character of Geeti
Ayeza is playing the character of a young energetic girl who has a lot of followers on Tiktok. You might have seen the ring light and mobile camera setup in Geeti’s room while watching the drama. One of the key characteristics of Geeti is that she wants what she wants. Kudos to Ayeza for delivering the dialogues brilliantly to paint a perfect picture of Geeti.
Finding the truth about Shams and Falak
When Laapata first aired, the character of Geeti seemed quite sweet and loving. However, as soon as she finds out the truth about Shams and Falak, she starts to show her true colors. Although there is not an event in the story (till now) where Geeti proved herself evil, her anger, and motivation to have Shams point out that something may happen moving forward.
When Geeti realizes that Falak and Shams are in love, and will get married, she gets really angry in front of her friend. While doing this scene, Ayeza resented an immense amount of energy that showed right on the surface of her face. It looked as if Geeti has taken over Ayeza Khan.
Shams Goes Missing, Geeti Repents..
When Shams gets arrested and goes missing, Geeti breaks down very badly. It was an interesting point in the story as the audience had just developed an image of a strong aggressive girl who is willing to do anything for her will. However, finding out that Shams is missing, she blames herself for it happening.
As a way of repenting, she starts to be more considerate and refrains from all the sins she used to commit.
It is important to mention that Sarah Khan who is playing the role of Falak is also receiving a lot of praise for her role. Falak is deeply in love with Shams who is missing for a long time. While both Falak and Geeti have their own places in the play, fans are loving Ayeza Khan’s performance a great deal.
What’s Next for Geeti?
As of yet, the story is stuck with Shams completely gone for almost two years (as shown in the drama). While this may be true, the next episode may bring a new twist to the plot as Falak is on the verge of choosing to let go of Shams. Meanwhile, Geeti is on the verge of falling in love with a boy she met in the meantime.
