Personal Style is all about expressing who you are. An outfit that you don’t feel, you will never look good in. One of the quirkiest brands in Pakistan, Rang Ja, sent me one of my Eid looks that I felt was personally very close to the statement, quirky way of dressing up that I enjoy. So I decided to share with my SiddySays family.
As a stylist I like putting my spin to things, and when I saw this very Punjabi outfit, I knew I had to wear it my way. What I love about the outfit is the fact that it comes together well, the red cotton block printed kurta, black and gold block printed gharara and the embroidered black waistcoat are made for each other, but more than that its the pieces on their own that can be paired with a number of different things to create distinct looks (watch this space for more on that). The fabric was light enough for the hot summer day, and I felt very comfortable.
Since the outfit on its own is very exciting, I decided to go completely accessory free. My make up was light and only included a gold glitter eyeliner with and lipstick. My hair is already short, so the whole twist of an eastern outfit and an edgy haircut made it work for me.
