However, the Generation’s Sohni couple had something completely different in mind. They threw a zero waste wedding where they used trash to create the wedding decor.
Yes, you heard it right. They went through trash of different friends and family to create wedding decorations. Therefore, we see a chador fashioned out of cousin Ali’s CD collection, there are hanging baubles made with mineral water bottles. We see cushions made out of outgrown baby clothes and a ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ backdrop using an old sofa cloth.
This intimate and personalised wedding takes cue from Generation’s updated design philosophy. A philosophy that focuses on sustainability of the garment itself.
