Episode 9 of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi brought many twists in the plot, and the way the it had ended with Noori lamenting, regretting and admitting her fears in front of Amma Janatey after Sahir throws her out of his house, had us all the more eager and anxious for episode 10. Fortunately for us though, episode 10 was equally engaging and kept a steady pace, even though we got to see a union that was bound to happen way too early for our liking, but the way the plot unfolded, it all made sense in the end. As always, all the actors were flawless in their performances and the episode was well-written which is why we’re hooked to Ranjha Ranjha Kardi.

NOORI’S CONFUSED STATE OF MIND
We saw Noori broken, hopeless and in despair after she realizes the mistake she made and for the first time she doesn’t know what to do. She weeps for herself as she worries about her future and the repercussions if she ends up marrying Shauka. However it is Amma Janatey who, in her silence and experience in life, offers Noori a way out provided she completely trusts her. In this moment, I sort of knew what was going to happen because in a parallel universe we saw Bhola with his mother asking her when he’d be married – a well play out from the writers though. They strategically crafted both these scenes together in order to make sense for both Bhola and Noori’s union. In the mean while, Noori agrees to Amma Janatey’s request of trusting her and leaves for Lahore immediately before anybody from Noori’s family get a whiff of her.

AMMA JANATEY
She’s a wise old lady who has seen the world and seen Noori grow up and treats her like her own child, and she knows who Noori is and what she desires out of life despite being a “choori”. Noori wants respect, love, a status in life, she wants to be independent and is not afraid to work for it so Amma Janatey conceals the truth from Noori when she offers her the idea of marriage even though she knows that they’ve already met each other. So she cajoles Noori with the idea of a “good life” over her future of a miserable woman married to Shauka and takes her away before she runs of out of time.

BHOLA AND NOORI
They may be worlds apart with their idea towards life but they share similarities that they are unaware off. Bhola is a child at heart but Noori enjoys his company as so we’ve seen in their delightful but accidental meet ups. Both Noori and Bhola are getting married to each other but they dont know it yet and they haven’t even seen each other yet. These two people are restless in life looking for things in the wrong places, so we will have to wait and find out if these two are made for each other or not.

REPERCUSSIONS AND REACTIONS
Bhola’s mother is extremely happy that she’s finally found a girl for him and so is his cousin sister, Komal. But her parents arent as happy as they should be especially Nusrat mian. He thinks there is more to Noori than meets the eye after she seems hesitant to say “qabool hai” – so I’m hoping to see him dig up dirt from Noori’s past and play a bigger part in this drama serial.
THE PREVIEW OF EPISODE 11
OMG! Sahir is back??? And what is Noori doing with him hand in hand? Bhola has fainted and looks like both Noori and Bhola havent met yet because Chachi kicked her out of the house. We’ll have to wait to find that out for Ranjha Ranjha Kardi on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 8 PM only on HUM TV!
