The “Lawn” fad has overwhelmingly grown and has become a phenomenon over the year, one that we all so effortlessly become a part of. We’ve seen Pakistani fashion amalgamate with what’s in vogue globally, thus transforming our local attire, the traditional shalwar-kameez into a modern day silhouette for every fashionable girl and woman of today, courtesy Crimson X Republic.
Crimson X Republic Lawn is a beautiful rendition of a spring soiree, a desirable display that has indigenous techniques, art and finesse woven into each fabric, thus completing the metamorphosis of a mere fabric into becoming a limited luxury piece that will only make you a stand-out and tailor-made in the #waroflawns.
Since it was extremely hard for us to just choose one, so here our four absolute favourite prints from #Crimson X Republic Lawn 2019.
Deccan Boheme
Deccan Boheme (code: D7 in Chartreuse) is a coupling of textured lawn and an embroidered shirt with hand-done mirror work. The white pants add regality to the with thread work and mirror scallops. The dupatta is printed on a light weight chanderi net edged with hand printed gold and silver varq borders. This outfit is royal yet easy to wear and airy.
Styling Tip: Deccan Boheme can be styled for a laid back luxe look for all those summer gatherings.
Solandra
Solandra (code: D6 in Canary Yellow) is a song that speaks of traditional modernity and demeanor. The play of fine embroidery and architectural detailing colliding with the pastel tones is the perfect attire to flaunt this season. The pairing of the suit with a two-toned dupatta that is printed by hand with a gold and silver warq gives the entire outfit a festive yet formal vibe, that never looses class.
Soosi & Gotta
(code: D8 in Navy), Soosi was considered a luxury fabric in Persia and brought to the Decan in the eleventh century, its stripes are just as relevant is fashion as they may have been a thousand years ago. The gotta work originated in Rajhistan and slowly became the royal craft of the region; this design blends the best of both. It is refined, easy to wear and promises to make a statement where ever you wear it.
Slovakian Reverie
Bohemian and free, this is the perfect summer outfit! Slovakian Reverie (code: D1 in Onyx) is inspired by the cross stitch embroideries of Eastern Europe. It features a cross stitch embroidered daman and sleeves on a jacquard front. The fully embroidered schifli back can be reversed for the front as well. The pairing of cross stitch and schifli laces are included so you can derive inspiration by styling your outfit in many ways. To add grandiose to the entire outfit, we love the the silk dupatta and a printed border for the pants.
