When I’m travelling, my hair have to look good because I love taking (sefies) and being photographed left and right is THE thing, so I admit that I want to look my best. No matter where I go, whether it’s the beach, the mountains or anywhere in between, good hair days uplift my mood and it stands true for all of us.
Now when I travel, I don’t really carry a lot of hair tools with me because the goal is to find the easiest hair solution that works best for me and I am personally more than equipped to manage any kind of hairstyle with one of my my most favourite tool, the HAIR STRAIGHTENER.
So, here are the 3 kind of hair styles I manage on #vacay with a hair straightener.
BEACH WAVES
This look would suit anyone with mid to long hair – you just need to know the trick to creating those waves. Pull your hair in a center parting and straighten the top part of the hair and create waves mid-length on wards. Do this by gently twisting the straightener from where you want the waves to start and wrap the remaining length around the straightener. For the rest, you just have to guide the straightener.
MERMAID CURLS
This hairstyle is young and trendy. I divide my hair into 4 sections – 2 in the front and 2 in the back, or sometimes not at all when I’m in a rush. Use a straightener section by section, and slowly rotate the clamps starting at the very roots. It’s very easy to maneuver once you know the trick. Just work your way downwards and voila!
HIGH PONY
I love this hairstyle, it’s a fun look. I straighten all my hair and then I take take the hair at the crown and back-comb them section by section. You canu use bobby pins to hold them otherwise a good voluminizing spray would also do. And then I tie all of them in a cute little pony.
