So there is no doubt in my mind, that Berlin is the most well rounded character of Money Heist. He has his good, his bad, his tragic flaws and his genius. He is neither pure evil, nor all saint. However, he is one thing. Passionate. Be it love, be it the heist, his brother, lover, life, death, Berlin is intriguing to say the least. Non chalant, handsome, fearless, villainous yet, a lover, here are the five things he has said through the series that will make him the number one character on the Netflix series.
- Believe me, I have had 5 divorces. Do you know what 5 divorces are? Five times I believed in love: his unique way of looking at things is what makes Berlin stand out as one of the leading characters of the series. A person would be deemed as a poor judge of things after 5 divorces, but not Berlin, as he so wittingly calls himself a believer of love.
- First times are so special. Unique. But the last times are beyond comparison. They are priceless. But people normally don’t know its their last time: to think there is so much truth behind these words. We cherish our first times. first love, first job, first success, however usually the world remembers us by our last. there is nothing after that, there can be no comparison indeed.
- Love cant be timed. It has to be lived: Again proving himself a believer of love and a true romantic. Berlin never shies away from expressing his feelings. Even when he knows he is suffering from a terminal disease, he isn’t afraid to love or commit. He doesn’t believe in the timing of love, only the feeling.
- Because some day, something will go wrong, it could cost you your life or something worse. And on that day what you cant be thinking is that you are to be blamed for something you couldn’t control. That’s life. Enjoy it, until the party is over: mic drop, cant say more.
