A drama that began with a bang and has two of the hottest stars in the lead has now become a plot going around in a circle where every week we are left scratching our heads and trying to figure out when will the truth about her father be revealed to Ana!

With us having seen the promo last week, we honestly believed that this week the episode would be fast paced where Bua Jee would come to Darya Bagh along with Farhana and tell Ana what had taken place many years ago which resulted in the destruction of two families, but instead what we got was a episode as slow as a snail where Ana was shown briefly with her nightmares and a helpless look on her face which should not be there now as she is a strong woman who has taken Aman head on to prove her fathers innocence so having seen her investigate a little by herself on the matter would have made this character a memorable one for sure as at the moment she is not bringing anything new to the story which is sad to see.

Talking more about last nights episode, well it was not one of the best so far but one thing which did make us appreciate the efforts put forth by writer Farhat Ishtiaq was when she shed light on domestic abuse through Nilofer and Farooq a bit before the ending.

A harsh realit , domestic abuse is on the rise in our society where men think they can control a woman by beating her senseless but with Nilofer not willing to get scared or step down in front of Farooq, she fights him and lets him be known that she will tell the world how he killed Humaira. A powerful scene indeed shot wonderfully by director Ahson Talish, credit also goes to Adnan Siddiqui and Mira Sethi who played such an emotional scene with finesse as with Nilofer thrown on the bed and the ferocious look on Farooqs face made us feel sorry for Nilofer whose world came tumbling down within that second by seeing a face of her once loving husband which was not what she ever expected.

With Bua Jee still on the way to Darya Bagh with Farhana, the old lady FINALLY tells her how Farooq had killed Amans family years ago but stays quite on Nilofers killing. Now why prolong the mystery is something which is annoying at this point since the drama could have been wrapped up at least 5 weeks before which could have kept the essence of the story alive as indeed it is a unique one but stretching it pointlessly has made it a drag and that was something which we did not expect from the writer and director duo who have given the industry some amazing projects which we watch again even today in our spare time.

An exciting promo yet again for next week where it will be a blend of past as well as present we only hope and wish that the episode will be a thrilling one with heart wrenching dialogues and not be a mere repetition of what we already know.
