Mushk episode 16 was a quick watch and everything happened as expected. Thank god! And nothing was out of the ordinary except for that one phone call between Adam and Guddi that gave us some sense of depth to Guddi’s character and showed what Adam genuinely thinks of her. So, I am forever looking forward to their interaction, no matter how brief they are.
Moreover, the rest of the episode took its natural course where Adam and Roshni finally manage to escape with the help of the other girl and set on their journey back home. Adam remained steadfast throughout this ordeal and emerged victorious, which means that he is a man of his words. Urwa is so charming as Guddi, I love her body language and the way she’s amalgamated Guddi’s character into her own personality. They look like one. Whereas the other characters are concerned in Mushk episode 16, the plot has picked up and there’s motion and commotion all around.
ADAM & GUDDI’S STORY
Even though Mushk episode 16 was a good episode however I am always eyeing and rooting to see Adam and Guddi interact. And their conversation definitely got my attention last night because of the way she had been concerned for him from the previous episode when Adam’s phone went off. So I was hoping for an exchange of concern, which was brilliantly shown through crisp dialogues and genuine emotions. Adam can see right through her therefore he was curt and straight forward, whereas Guddi seemed glad to have heard his voice. The old school one sided romance was sweet, but I’m more worried when Adam finds out that it was Guddi who helped Roshni elope with Saqib. So when Guddi learnt that Adam is returning with Rohsni, Urwa’s emotional turmoil was refreshing because her plan of action will go sideways and she’ll further be looked down upon by Adam.
Sine the last 2 episodes, which I mentioned earlier as well that, when Saqib sent that letter to Zulekha revealing the truth and how he has sold Roshni, Guddi’s been in the dark even though she’s been helping the Taya get well. This part though has been putting me off. Even though Guddi wanted to take revenge from Zulekha, but she still isn’t aware of the complete story, that Saqib had ulterior motives and what eventually happened.
SHAYAN & MUQADDAR KHAN CONTINUE TO BATTLE
It is clear to us that Shayan cannot outrun Muqaddar Khan therefore he’s completely given (but then, I’m still hoping for something to happen). For now, I feel for him while Muqaddar Khan continues to focus on what he wants without taking in account his wife or daughters feelings. Ahsun Talish has played the character remarkably well and flipped his moods with the snap of a finger. From being a villain to being a softie (when he asks Shayan to let go of the grudge since he will be his father in law also), the scene cracked me up a bit, thinking of the lengths that people can go to, to get what they want. So the Pir sahab has arrived and he’ll set an auspicious time of the nikkah and until then, I am wishing for a miracle to happen.
FINAL THOUGHTS ON MUSHK EPISODE 16
Mushk episode 16 was a good watch over all with some developments and revelations, giving way to more to what is about to come in the future episodes. I have a feeling that Shayan is up to something and Guddi is settling on Adam. The promos can be misleading so we’re going to wait it out until next Saturday.
