Dobara is enjoying a glorious run on television right now. It is one of the most loved shows on Hum TV right now. The show has received a lot of praise for talking about the challenges faced by widows and what becomes of their lives after their husbands pass away. Hadiqa Kiyani has been amazing in her role as Mehrunnisa but it is Bilal Abbas Khan’s Mahir who has won unanimous acclaim with his performance. His Mahir is goofy, doesn’t take himself too seriously but is sensitive, courageous, takes risks, and is often a knight in shining armor for Mehrunnisa. Mahir and Mehrunnisa think about each other’s words
Mahir remembers Mehrunnisa’s shocked reaction when he proposed to her. She remembers how sure and assertive Mahir was when he was asking her to marry him.
Mahir’s father is sick
We learn that Mahir’s father isn’t well and his doctor wants him to get an angiography. It seems like his ill health will become a matter of concern for Mahir.
Mahir gets a job
Mahir starts working at Hidayatullah’s(NaumanEjaz) company where Zameer (NabeelZuberi) is overseeing all the operations. They meet but Zameer doesn’t recognize Mahir.
Mahir comes to Mehrunnisa’s aid
Mehrunnisa and Ibtisam (Javed Sheikh) get attacked by goons. Ibtisam gets injured while Mahir intervenes and chases them away. He drives them to the hospital where doctors treat Ibtisam. Before leaving, Mehrunnisa tells Mahir she is going to marry Ibtisam. Mahir tells her she is going to ruin her life again.Ibtisam pretends to be unconscious and listens everything including Mahir’s proposal to her.
Affan gets married to Seher
During Affan (Usama Khan) and Seher’s wedding ceremony, Mehrunnisa realizes how everyone is making choices for themselves, and she should does the same.
Ibtisam turns a new leaf
Ibtisam dismisses his plans to marry Mehrunnisa. He meets Mahir and asks his true intentions. He tells Mahir that he should marry Mehrunnisa and not him.
Mahir and Mehrunnisa
Mahir and Mehrunnisa get married in presence of Ibtisam and Mahir’s friend, Babar (Moiz Hasan). After that, they come home and break the news to Mehrunnisa’s family who are shocked and speechless.
