Dil-e-Momin continues to be an entertaining watch. The show, which aired its 32nd, episode last night keeps drawing in massive viewership and praise from audiences. The show is doing an amazing job of talking about our mistakes and their consequences. It is a commentary on how our Creator punishes us for our sins in this world only and we shall sow what we reap.
The 7th Sky Entertainment production has everything going for it from day one thanks to a stellar cast, and incredible performances especially Faisal Qureshi as Momin who has played the character with such honesty, Madiha Imam who delivers a daring performance, and Momal Sheikh as Ashi, a girl who is caught between right and wrong. The writing by Jahanzeb Qamar and Shehrzade Sheikh’s direction remain first rate. Read onto find out what happened in the last night’s episode.
ASHI IS WILLING TO ACCEPT A PUNISHMENT
After Fakhar leaves the country on the night of their wedding, his mother tells Ashi to go home to her parents. Ashi refuses to go and chooses to live in Fakhar’s home. She believes she deserves to be punished after what she did with Momin. She even lies to her parents on the phone when they want her to come home with Fakhar. She also asks Fakhar’s mother to not tell her parents anything.
GOHAR CONSOLES MAYA
He drops by at Maya’s place and the two talk about Maya’s mother. He then tells her if she has listened to him when he told her Momin doesn’t love Maya, none of this would have happened. Maya then asks Gohar to take her to her mother’s grave.
MOMIN AND MAYA MEET AGAIN
Momin’s father’s grave is right next to Maya’s mother’s, but Momin doesn’t know that. He asks Maya why she is here to which she tells him she didn’t just kill his father, she also killed her mother.
MOMIN GETS HIS JOB BACK
Momin gets a letter from his university offering him his job back with all his dignity. One member of the staff even shows up at his house to convince him to come home. Momin’s mother tells him the Almighty has reawakened love in every heart for Momin. He says everyone except Ashi. She tells Momin this is something he has to live with. All he can do is pray for her happiness.
