Hum Tum is just a series of haphazard relatable moments that will remind you of your childhood and bring a smile to your face. Each character is someone that we have known all our lives or will feel familiar because you were the same when you were young. It is such a delight to watch this cute little show with its big heart. Read onto find out what happened in yesterday’s episode.
Maha(Sarah) burns her hand while preparing omelete. Her mother rushes to the neighbors’ and asks them for help. Sarmad(Junaid)immediately rushes to the situation and applies ointment on Maha’s hand. He then prepares tea while happily talking to Maha. He is ecstatic when Maha offers to help him complete his masters.
Neha(Ramsha) goes to Professor Jabir(Saifi) who accused her father of favoritism and tells him to take a surprise test right there so that he can believe she was awarded marks on her merit. Adam(Ahad) brings Professor Qutubuddin(Adan) there who misreads the whole situation and thinks Neha is at fault again. Neha tells Adam he will pay for what he has done.
At home, Qutubuddin is angry with all three of his daughters. The relatable moment here is how Neha starts praying as soon as she comes home to avoid her father’s anger. As punishment for Neha’s actions, he tells the girls that evening tea, dinner and dusting are all their responsibilities from this point on.
Maha suggests they order food from Sarmad’s restaurant but Neha says she won’t take help from the enemy. Then, Maha calls Sarmad and asks him for a recipe. She eventually prepares the food but it gets burned because it was left unattended on the stove.
Maha calls Sarmad again who tells her not to worry and that he will take care of everything. He also hides it from Adam because Sarmad knows he will tell everything to Professor Qutubuddin.
At dinner, everyone loves the food. Adam and his father are also invited by Qutubuddin to try food cooked by his daughters. Adam suspects the food tastes familiar to which Maha says Neha is the one who has cooked it.
Talking about performances, everyone is amazing in their parts but Ramsha Khan as Neha and Junaid Khan as Sarmad deserve a special mention. Sarmad is such a gentleman towards Maha and in general. He is always happy to be of help, to assist someone and is kind to everyone especially Maha because of the soft corner he has for her. Neha’s love-hate relationship with her father is equally well written and presented. We can all see a bit of ourselves in that situation, right?
