This drama season has presented us to a slew of outstanding dramas, including Sinf e Ahan and Parizaad. Dobara, a serialdirected by Danish Nawaz and written by SarwatNazir, is anotherunique effort that has captured our hearts with its lovely and instructive plot.
The way a drama or film deals with a subject or issue is more essential than the story’s subject. Main lead played by Bilal Abbas Khan as Mahirand HadiqKiani, as Mehru, Dobara is a story about tangled relationships and cultural expectations.
So the The latest episode of Dobara began where the previous one left off: a long-awaited heart-to-heart between Mahir(Bilal)and his father. This was most likely the first time these two had ever spoken to each other.
Mahir’s father recognised that he was the reason his marriage fell apart. Yet, his wife was held accountable by society more than him.Mahir swears he’ll never betray Mehrunnisa(Hadiqa). After Mahir went, his father’s smile spoke a lot about how he felt about the situation.Adeela(Fareeda),on the other hand, is still fascinated by Mehrunnisa’s wealth.
Zameer(Nabeel)is in need of money, so he asks Affan(Usama)for a loan of twenty crore rupees. Despite Safdar’sSahab modest plea to do otherwise, Affan was more than willing to give him the money he required proved that he was not the right guy for the job!
Seher(Sabeena)informs her mother of all that has occurred, including what she has done to evict Mahir from the house. Her mother got worried about what will Affan’s reaction be when he learns the truth?
Mahir’s decision to return to Mehru had to be the episode’s high point today. Mehru’s friend helped to clear up the misunderstanding, Shanu tells everything to Mehrunnisa. Mehru’s reaction was not depicted in a dramatic fashion, and the entire incident was covered in a subtle manner. It was fantastic to see Mahir and Mehru reunited finally.
Affan hears everything Mahir says to Seher while he confronts her. He cried, ashamed on her wife’s act and couldn’t stand the fact that he has to face Mahir again with this guilt inside and as Affan pointed out, Mahir benefited the most from the situation.
Overall, this episode of Dobara was interesting and fast-paced. Except for the stepmother’s parts, which were prolonged, all of the sequences were well-placed. Despite the fact that Sehar and Phupo’s preparation and execution were not the best aspects of this drama, it was nice to see it wrap up fast. The misconception did not last long, and it was leveraged to introduce some significant character modifications.
We eagerly await the next installment. Let’s see what happens in the following few episodes. Let us know what you think in the comments!
