HUM TV’s Meri Shehzadi is a drama that deals with the complex game to achieve power and it transforms individuals into conniving humans. Qasim Ali Mureed (director) delivers a genuinely good product that not just entertains but also enlightens. The drama serial is led by Urwa Hocane who surprises viewers and fans with every project. Here, in Meri Shehzadi her performance gives the best in the business sleepless nights. Urwa is a revelation and she pitches in a flawless performance. This week’s episode 15 was laced with ample surprises, twists and turns. Let’s review
SANAULLAH WANTS DANIA FOR HER RIGHTS
Sanaullah (Qavi Khan) is repenting for his decision of marrying Dania with Shehroz (Ali Rehman). He is done with the latter’s fake promises. He wants Dania to file for divorce and focus on getting her newborns back. Sanaullah warns her that she isn’t in a position to revert her decision of going back. He tells Dania that she is not an ordinary woman and advises her to make a world of her own. Dania as a wife regrets that despite trying her best she couldn’t be her husband’s priority.
DANIA REFUSES TO LEAVE WITH SHAHROZE
Shahana (Atiqa Odho) as usual is fed up with her son’s silly mistakes. She wants him to get rid of his first wife. She gives him an ultimatum that she wants Dania back in the house at any cost. Shehroz arrives at Sanaullah’s house but gets a dose of his own medicine. Dania’s grandfather accuses him of all the wrongdoing that he is done with her granddaughter. Shehroz is shocked to see his support for Dania. Sanaullah right away tells him to divorce his first wife, if not, Dania will seek divorce from him and will demand the custody of the newborns via court. Shehroz refuses to do so and Dania to refuses to go with him.
SHAHANA CROSSES ALL LIMITS TO DEFAME DANIA
Shahana is very well aware of Dania’s political popularity, so it won’t be easy to suppress her anymore. Therefore, she plans a cunning act to defame Dania and releases her morphed pictures with a model proving an extra-marital affair. Dania comes to know about this through a friend, this news spreads like wildfire. Dania confronts Sanaullah that this is the reason why she wasn’t willing to go against these powerful people. She wasn’t expecting that her in-laws will go this length to harm her.
DANIA SEEKS KHULA
Sanaullah on the contrary is calm and quiet and doesn’t seem to be shocked by this stunt. He advises Dania to meet the lawyer and file for Khula. Finally, we see Dania meeting the lawyer, the latter makes her aware of the consequences of parting ways. She further says that her husband and his family are very powerful and will try their level best to sabotage her personal and professional life. Dania emerges strong, files for Khula, and declares war against Shehroz.
SIDDYSAYS THINKS
Urwa Hocane is first-rate; her honesty and earnestness show in every single sequence. Watch the scene where she is in conversation with the lawyer and agrees to battle with Shahroz. Hocane changes color faster than a chameleon, which an actor of caliber can achieve. Also, Meri Shehzadi isn’t an easy play to shoot, every frame has more than three or four actors with many having massive crowds as well.
