Best dramas of 2022
Mere Humsafar
Mere Humsafar became a big hit in 2022 because Hamza and Hala ruled the internet with their adorable chemistry. HaniaAamir and Farhan Saeed made a power couple in 2022. The drama changed the standards of men in our society through the character of Hamza. It was one of the Best romantic Pakistani dramas.
Sinf-e-Aahan
An ISPR project for empowering women despite their caste, religion, and geographical position in Pakistan. Sinf-e-Aahan showed how women could achieve everything and work with the same effort as men. It starred Sajal Aly, Kubra Khan, Ramsha Khan, DananeerMobeen, Yumna Zaidi, and SyraYousuf.
Sang-e-Maah
Sang-e-Maah was set in the tribal Pakhtoon regions and transparently showed their lives and traditions. It highlighted the need for change and an end to the oppression of women in tribes. The main focus was on the practice of ‘ghag’. Sang-e-Maah cast included Atif Aslam, ZaviyarNouman, NoumanIjaz, HaniaAamir, Kubra Khan, Sania Saeed, etc.

Less-liked Pakistani Dramas 2022 recap
Paristaan
The drama lacked the humour that was meant to be there. It was not the worst drama, but it did not manage to provide the audience with what they expected. The cast included AymenSaleem, ArsalanNaseer, Ali Safina, Mira Sethi, etc.
Badshah Begum
Badshah Begum included super-talented actors from our industry, like Farhan Saeed, Zara Noor Abbas, Komal Mir, Ali Rehman, etc. But, it did not manage to hook the audience as expected. Maybe, it was because the plot was not too relatable to the ordinary people as it was centred around the internal conflicts of the feudal lords.
Pyaar Deewangi Hai
PyaarDeewangi Hai showed all the useless extremities of love which the viewers are sick of watching a thousand times before. The viewers are no longer interested in cliched love triangle stories with no common sense. The cast included NeelumMuneer, Sami Khan, and Shuja Asad in lead roles.
Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi
Despite a high rating, this drama is among the least-liked Pakistani dramas in 2022. Whether it’s the beginning or the end, the serial did not impress the viewers. The start was complete nonsense in showing the toxic patriarch character of Shamsher madly in love with Mehak. His attitude was not at all acceptable to the people.
However, he transformed into a good man, and when people started liking him, the writer killed him. Conclusively, Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi’s end lacked in fulfilling the hopes of viewers of a happy future for Shamsher and Mehak. It only left them disappointed.
Also, it is worth mentioning that the Pakistani drama industry has outclassed Indian Dramas in recent years. Still, you can check out the list of Best Indian Dramas from previous years to compare and enjoy how far the storyline is of Indian dramas.
