The combo of the magical writer Hashim Nadeem, Midas directions by Safie Hassan and the super talented Farhan Saeed as the protagonist works big time. Nine episodes down will ASP Arsalan succeed in making Jhok Sial a safe place for its people? Let’s review.
Sassi Apologizes To ASP Arsalan
ASP Arsalan (Farhan Saeed) informs headmaster Kamaluddin that Jeevan was last seen with Aslam. Sassi (Hiba Bukhari) seeks an apology from ASP for her rude behavior. She also thanks him for reopening the school and pulling the strings to get her a job. Before leaving, she leaves a letter at his desk and asks him to read it. ASP request Kamaluddin to have faith in the police force. The ASP says that he will make sure that the culprits who forced Jeevan to walk on the wrong path will be punished.
Jahan Dad Gets A Tough Deadline
The ASP Arsalan is well aware of Jahan Dad and is undue support for the haveli. He orders him to arrest Aslam in order to reach the real culprit. Jahan Dad begins making excuses until ASP gives him a tough deadline of 48 hours to bring him to the police station. Otherwise he would have would get search warrants from the home department to investigate Meeral (Usman Javed) haveli; and Jahan Dad would be leading the proceedings.
ASP Arsalan Reads Sassi’s Letter
Sassi writes her heart out and expresses that she wants to take revenge on those who killed his brother. She and her father doesn’t have the power or resources to do it, therefore the ASP is her only hope. She questions if will help them or if will he surrender in front of the lawlessness like others. She wants an answer. She further tells him that Meeral had appointed Jeevan as his employee. She also writes about Noori (Mamya Shajaffar) and requests him to visit her school someday. Jeevan’s case has made many enemies for him in Jhok Sial but her best wishes are always with him.
Jahan Dad Tries To Mislead ASP Arsalan
Peeral (Asif Raza Mir) wants Aslam to be killed as he knows many secrets of Meeral. In this way, the police force will continue their search and won’t be able to find any clues. Jahan Dad tells ASP Arsalan that he saw him getting on the bus to Jahangirpur. Asghar (Mazhar Suleman) intervenes in between and adds that Aslam’s village is just seventeen kilometers away, so he must have gone to his home. This irks Jahan dad and looks angrily at Aslam.

The multi-layered narrative of Jhok Sarkar continues to intrigue viewers. It’s a pleasure to watch Farhan Saeed in a cop avatar and he puts his best foot forward to justice to a meaty part. He is always in his element and never goes overboard. His fitness is spot on and how he gets into the skin of his character is seen to be believed. His expressions make the desired impact. This one will surely go down as one of his memorable performances.
