Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 episode 5 a good episode because it covered Farhad’s track appropriately. Right after he tried to talk to Mahi in last episode, he was unable to get a hold of her only to find out that she’s left for Bahawalpur, so he decides to go after her. For a boy of his age and who has fallen completely in love with a girl over a few meetings, this way expected of him. From mulling over her absence to finally deciding and taking a hold of his life, Farhad leaves the comfort of his home to in the pursuit of love.
So Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 episode 5 was dedicated to Farhad. Amongst many other scenes, the highlight was the farewell moment with his family and how they aren’t ready to let him go. We felt terrible for Naheed who is in love with Farhad and the fact that she bares the brunt of his mood swings shows how genuinely she cares for him. And maybe that’s what Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 is about. Naheed is in love with Farhad, Farhad is in love with Mahi and Mahi doesn’t love him back (yet). In a way we’re all seeking love in our lives, for some it’s a gift while for others its a struggle.
AMMA SAYEEN REGARDS THE DERVESH
Taimoor confides in his mother what the dervesh (Noor Hassan) at the darbar told him before he was leaving for Lahore which is why he shows his hesitancy towards them, but from the looks of it, his mother believes in these people being a way to reach the Almighty and therefore trusts in what they say and regards them. To what extent will his predictions for her son’s lives come true?
This also highlights a certain part of our society residing in these areas who place their trust and beliefs in these people to help them find their ways in life.
FARHAD DECIDES TO LEAVE FOR BAHAWALPUR
Since Mahi has left for home, Farhad is in turmoil and hides his pain under a facade of boy who’s moving to another city to pursue his education and better work prospects. However his family isn’t aware of his ulterior motives. Thus far we’ve seen that Farhad is a stubborn young man and the fact that he fell in love with a girl whom he barely knows and is willing to move to an unknown city to find her, is proof enough his love story will take a detour. So he basically lies to everyone except his friends, who know the truth, to get Mahi back.
NEW CHARACTERS
We have two new characters, Baray and Chotay Shah Sahab, Usman Peerzada as Kazim Shah and his brother. Kazim Shah is Mahi’s father and an influential man. For now we don’t know much about his character but the fact that he is a strict person with rules and regulations for women of his house hold. And now that Farhad is in the lions den, we’ll have to see how he makes his way towards Mahi with all eyes watching him.
