THE 3C SANDWICH BY POTS N CURRIES
For making a perfect sandwich it is important to use the best ingredients, correctly sized and portioned, and the order in which they are assembled and presented. It is definitely a hands-on skill learnt through your creative imagination and experience.
What is the most important thing for you when eating a sandwich? For me it should have a protein filling which should be satisfyingly creamy, layered with crunchy vegetables and a perfect good quality bread which is toasted in butter to get that beautiful crisp top.
I love making sandwiches specially during Ramzan. Today I am sharing a delicious recipe for my 3 C sandwich. It has a delicious creamy chicken filling, layered with crunchy vegetables and a crispy buttered bread.
THE THINGS YOU NEED

- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- White pepper – 3/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper- 3/4 teaspoon
- Crushed red chilies – 3/4 teaspoon
- Cumin and Coriander- 1 tablespoon (roasted and grinded)
Marinate the chicken with all above ingredients for minimum 2 hours. Bake it or air fry it for 30-40 min until nicely tender. Once cooled chop it into smaller chunks.

In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add onions and sauté for a minute. Add flour and cook until rawness of flour is finished. Now add milk and stir continuously to avoid getting any lumps in the sauce. Cook until the sauce thickens. Add capsicums and chicken. Season it with one 1 chicken cube. Cook until the filling is thick and not saucy anymore.

Spread green chutney and chili garlic sauce on the inner sides of the sandwich bread.
Layer one bread with chicken filling. Top it with iceberg, tomatoes, olives and cheese.
Sandwich the bread slices.
Heat the heavy bottom pan, add butter. Once the butter starts to melt, place the sandwiches in the pan and let them toast on both sides until golden and crisp. Cook on slow flame.
