Dear readers, this year we have 5 star-studded Eid-ul-Fitr telefilms to look forward to with each telefilm pronounced to have an exciting star cast and a fun script, so we’re going to share some insight into your dose of entertainment that will be translated into comedy, drama and love while you celebrate Eid in Covid times.
While this year is also the same as last year where we have to follow all the SOPs and maintain social distancing in these trying times, these 5 star-studded Eid-ul-Fitr telefilms will, hopefully, make a terrible situation seem less worse and more enjoyable with your favourite stars on TV as you savour a bowl of sheer khorma.
So here are the 5 star-studded Eid-ul-Fitr telefilms
DIL KAY CHOR
Starring Hania Amir and Momin Saqib, Dil Kay Chor is set to be a “very cute” romantic comedy that will show both the entertainers in a comedic role. The telefilm is set to make everyone laugh and that’s all we know about it and will mark the debut of a new on-screen couple alongside powerhouses Hina Dilpazeer and Rubina Ashraf.
LOVE VACCINE
Yasir Hussain, Sonya Hussyn and Farhan Saeed will be seen in Love Vaccine directed by Humayun Saeed. It’s going to be a light-hearted telefilm about love and fun (we’re assuming in Covid times). With these 3 actors on board, Love Vaccine will keep entertainment sorted.
1970, A LOVE STORY
We’re so psyched to see Asim Azhar, Urwa Hocane and veteran actor, Javed Sheikh on ARY together for the first time in a love story that will show how love used to be less complicated without the haggling of social media and more about simple hand written notes and letters. Love is eternal as time, therefore to see two lovers from the 70’s into the new world is all the more exciting. 1970, A Love Story is being directed by Fahad Mustafa.
(NAME NOT FINALIZED YET)
Starring Agha Ali and Hiba Bukhari, this telefilm has yet to be named, however the little that we do know about this telefilm is that it’s going to be a rom-com and the duo will be fighting over a new house. Now are they going to be fighting for it as a couple, or two single individuals looking for a house and eventually falling in love – we’ll find that out!
BAS CORONA
The very (un)popular Amir Liaqat is making is TV debut this Eid with a telefilm opposite Nausheen Shah. We don’t know much about Bas Corona, but we’re assuming it’s about the affects of Covid on life.
