[tps_header]Being a food lover it really excites us when a new restaurant opens up. And by that we don’t mean likes of Fried Chicken joints. We are talking about real restaurants with a clear offering and a command over the cuisine they are serving. Which is why Bamboo Union and The Rice Bowl opening up, and that too across the road from each other, seemed like a real treat. Instead of our usual restaurant guides, we decided to do a face off between the two, since they serve similar cuisine (not same) and are based on the quick service, hassle free, simple food model.[/tps_header]
Ambiance
If you are a bright lights person, The Rice Bowl is the place for you, and if you like the yellow ambient setting then BU takes the lead. However, both restaurants are minimalistic and charming in their own way. The seating at TRB is definitely more comfortable, whereas the wooden benches at BU might not suit everyone. So here our vote is split TRB 1: BU 1
