We said bye bye 2016 last weekend, but we still feel somethings were left unsaid. What better way than to look back at the trend setters, the not so trending, the hits, the misses and everything that we either loved or hated this year! Here is the Directory like no other!
A- Ali Xeeshan: from a Vietnamese farmer to a cock (on) head he tried to make his red carpet appearances statement. For a talented designer that should not be too hard, but I guess somethings are better left unsaid. Ali Xeeshan was trending in 2016.
B-Bloggers: the new catch phrase, everyone critiques them, but everyone wants to be them. Case in point, journos who have their own Blogs!!
C- Chaiwala: the biggest example of how little it takes these days to become a sensation!
D- Damn: those off shoulder tops. Will Lahoris ever stop wearing them?
E- Ewwww: stop streaking/dying your hair Golden
F- Faux Fur: was, is and will remain Tacky!
G-Gai Soap: you will love the ad and Mahira in it-money can buy anything.

H-Halters: Everyone wants to wear one, no one can carry one.
I- IT girls: the generation that promotes itself with most zeal without any real accomplishment!
J- Judgements: based on length of one’s dress. They are probably never going out of fashion!!
K- Kill me if I see ONE more mannequin challenge!
L-Lehnga Choli: we really wish you die a fast, sudden death.
M- the Biggest question on Instagram, ‘Is she Muslim?’
N-Names on Bomber Jackets, are we done with that yet?
O- OMG: how cool was preggers Bebo in 2016.
P- Pom Poms: cool on shoes, not on clothes!
Q- Qandeel Baloch: from hated to loved over night, sad that she couldn’t live to see why! Says a lot about our society doesn’t it.
R-Death of the Revival of Pakistani Cinema ‘Dobara Phir Se’ (get it?)
S-Solo shows: some good, some awful and some so short you didn’t even notice they started!!
T- Tulip Shalwar: thank God the summer ended and we had to stop seeing them everywhere. Those who wore it in the wedding season, you really need to be more imaginative than this in 2017.
U- Udari: best the television has produced in decades. Despite starring URHAN!
V- Very surprised: at A list internationally acclaimed designers sponsoring celebrity weddings!
W- Weight loss programs: Anyone who had nothing better to do got on the bandwagon this year and started a Boot (Loot) Camp.
X- X men Apocalypse: biggest let down this year
Y- Young Entrepreneurs: you guys rocked this year. Patari, MangoBaaz, Ghar Par and many more.
Z- The Zalima: who won’t get that Coke already!
