Daaman, the Karachi based women’s wear brand, has expanded its retail operations to Lahore by opening two new stores in the heart of the city in addition to the existing outlet in DHA.
The new flagship store, located in Gulberg II, is the largest outlet to date. The entire Daaman range is available at the outlet including the pret and formal lines as well as their new collection of accessories. Al-Fatah Mall in Gulberg III is the chosen location for the other new store which caters to a variety of shoppers from all over Lahore. The brand is planning its fourth store opening at the start of 2016 at the new Nishat Mall.
“We had been looking to expand to Lahore for the past year but weren’t able to find the right location”, said Maleeha Chaudhry, the creative director of Daaman. “We have had a store in DHA for the last couple of years but our customers in Lahore always asked us to open another in Gulberg. That is why we decided to open two stores at the same time as soon as we got hold of good locations”.
Both outlets have been designed by Najmi Bilgrami Collaborative from Karachi and feature the signature Daaman look involving the string element and dark walls consistent across all the stores.
Nominated four times for the “Best High Street Brand” at the Lux Style Awards, Daaman was established in Karachi in 2009, aimed at providing the modern woman with an ideal pret solution.
