DIl-e-Momin aired its second episode for the week tonight and it was an emotional one with a very dramatic turn. Things aren’t looking good for Momin and what’s worse; the situation continues to go out of hand. Read onto find out what happened in today’s episode.
FARI’S WEDDING GETS CANCELLED
Waleed’s mother shows up at the day of Fari and Waleed’s wedding and tells the family they won’t be moving forward with the marriage because her family doesn’t approve of the alliance after what Momin did. Momin begs her to reconsider her decision and not do that but Waleed’s mother doesn’t listen.
SHAHZAD FEELS BURDENED FROM JAMIL’S WORDS
Jamil reminds Shahzad of how he said he will give up his life for Ashi’s happiness. He says now Ashi’s life has been ruined and Shahzad is fine and alive. Unable to get over those words, Shahzad collapses in the street and faints.
MOMIN’S TROUBLES FOLLOW HIM
Momin goes to convince Waleed to not call off the wedding. Waleed gets a call and is told that Shahzad has passed away.
GOHAR SEEKS REVENGE FROM MAYA
Gohar comes to see Maya and tells her he is with her in her battle against Momin. He tells her the students are organizing a protest and he will file a case against Momin. Maya says she has forgiven Momin and she doesn’t want Gohar to do anything. Gohar refuses to listen to her and that’s when Maya grabs his collar and tells him if he does anything to Momin, she won’t spare him.
OUR VERDICT
Faisal Qureshi nails his character. His acting is amazing in the show. We also love how Momin’s faith remains strong even in the face of such adversities. The story and screenplay deserve a special mention.
