The third episode of Dobara went on-air today and the drama has got the audience glued to their screens.
The third episode starts off with Mahir searching for a job, however due to his lack of experience and careless behavior he remains unlucky.
Despite the circumstances, we can see a huge weight has been lifted off of Mehrunissa as the dust settles down and she starts living her life normally. However, Hidayatullah’s sister is not in favor of her at all as she does not think it’s appropriate for a widower to behave like this.
Mahir’s girlfriend, Narmeen adds to his stress and tells him about how her mother has called over Zamaan’s parents over for dinner. She ends up convincing him to bring his parents to her house to talk about their marriage.
Hidayatullah’s sister keeps questioning Mehrunissa’s behavior and attitude, creating unrest in the house. She also fills Affan’s head with all sorts of ideas about how his mother is acting inappropriately, therefore adding fuel to the fire. Mehrunissa’s daughter, however, doesn’t think much of it and encourages her phupoo to listen to her heart more often as well.
Mahir ends up convicning both his mother and father for the proposal. The only thing that’s bothering him now is what gift he should bring for Narmeen to the dinner to impress and convince her mother.
Mehrunissa looks happy as ever as she starts doing the things she enjoys, like going to the park for a walk and shopping with her daughter. Her sister-in-law continues to question everything she does, but Mehrunissa has had enough and just wants to be happy.
Mehrunissa’s son-in-law, Zameer takes over the family business and is introduced in the company as well. He is only going to be in charge till Mehrunissa joins the office herself. While Sehar reminds Affanto bring a proposal to her house if he wants to marry her. While out with his friend Sehar, Affan and her end up seeing his mother and she makes a remark about the way Mehrunissa is acting.
The episode ends with Mahir going through an internal struggle if whether he should end up stealing a gold bangle belonging to his step-mother or not.
The story is now progressing s they have introduced us to all the characters and their struggles. Bilal Abbas Khan remains to be the star of the show with his exceptional performance. While Sabeena Syed, who plays the role of Affan’s girlfriend Sehar’s remark about his mother has left us all with the perfect cliffhanger.
