Dobara, a Hum TV drama series, is one of my favourite Prime Time Watches, and we love its growing storyline. The performances are outstanding. Mahir’s(Bilal)path overlaps with that of his ex-flame Narmeen(Zoya) in the previous episode. Mahir appears to be torn between his ex-lover and his wife Mehru(Hadiqa).
However, after viewing latest episode, Mahir’s true intentions began to reveal as he alluded to Mehru as someone who meant nothing to him. While it seemed understandable why Mahir would choose Narmeen, it wasn’t expected from him to be that ‘stupid’!
Mahir’s conversation with his mother proved to be final nail in the coffin. The encouragement he got from his mother increased his self-assurance about Narmeen.
Narmeen confesses Mahir about her love for him. Mahir forgets every love and sacrifice that Mehru has made for him and willing to lend a hand to Narmeen even at the cost of leaving Mehru.
But Narmeen’s greediness made her convince Mahir not to leave Mehru as she is more interested in Mahir’s money than his love. This beach moment between Narmeen and Mahir was really disappointing and finally convinced us to give up on Mahir.
Mahir and Narmeen both felt guilty, but they were clearly more concerned with what they desired than with the reasons why they needed to reassess their conduct.
The way Mahir lied to Babar(Mojiz) when he asked about him and Narmeen, revealed a lot about Mahir’s ability to conceal information and deceive! Mahir’s most prominent personality attribute has to be his manipulative attitude, and Bilal Abbas has ensured that Mahir comes across as manipulative even when you want to believe he is being honest.
According to the promo for the upcoming episode, Mahir may overhear Narmeen and her mother conversing, but Mehru does not appear to be eager to forgive him. ! He deserves a gold digger who will abandon him when he loses his fortune.
Mehru deserves a happy ending, and the drama should come to a satisfying conclusion. We hope that the next episode is the second to last!
