Farhat Ishtiaq is known to write stories which, besides being romantic, also have the thrilling aspect attached to it, therefore we are always delighted to watch them as we get to enjoy all the elements rolled wonderfully in one project, and that can exactly be said about Yeh Dil Mera. In just about 3 episodes, we’re hooked to it.
An intriguing script where the characters are not as simple as they seem and last nights episode gave us a more in depth view about each one of them and the story is moving ahead in a steady yet interesting pace.
NATTY PLAYS THE ROLE OF NOOR’S KHALA
And to see her was a nice surprise. She briefly appeared and adores her niece and we’re hoping she will play a substantial role in uncovering the truth or at least revealing the past to help Noor.
RABIA BUTT PLAYS ADNAN SIDDIQUI’S LOVE INTEREST
For a while we knew that Rabia Butt was busy shooting for a new play, and finally after much teasing, last night we saw her being romantically involved with Agha Jaan and Noor is unaware about this relationship. Perhaps the trips that Agha Jaan is taking back and forth are for his lady love. The question that arises is that, is she his second wife or just a passing phase? However what we did figure out was that the way the duo was gazing at one another made us realize that this part of his life has been hidden from everyone and whatever reasons those may be, we cant wait to find out in the coming episodes.
EPISODE 4 DEALS WITH THERAPY & MENTAL HEALTH IN A POSITIVE LIGHT
Muhammad Ahmed is a versatile actor who is also a part of Yeh Dil Mera where he plays a psychiatrist who genuinely helps his patients and makes them come out of their fears as he is with Noor. And last night we saw Noor quickly put aside her nightmares to carry on with her routine life which in the past was impossible as it would take her days to recover. Talking about mental health and tackling a sensitive issue in a positive way is really a first for a Pakistani drama serial. The conversation between him and Agha Jaan about Noor’s well being and the fact that she seems happy after his consultation has made everyone fell better.
AMAAN & NOOR ARE GETTING CLOS… EVEN IF IT IS FOR A WHILE
Episode 3 showed that the characters are not as simple as they seem, especially Aman who within a second is the rude boss and in a blink of an eye changes in to a sweet man who flirts and then just gets up and leaves without even a hint. The scene in the office a bit confusing where he is interviewing Noor for an internship, we were left to wonder that what is going on in his head but at the same time we realize that Aman has his own demons to deal with which too we hope will unfold in the coming weeks. His split personality is a bit unnerving, but exciting.
OUR FINAL THOUGHTS
A lighter episode compared to last week, director Ahson Talish knows how to tell a story well but our only issue with last nights episode was its editing which at places seemed to be too abrupt. A minute ago Noor is shown in the car with music in the background and the next you find her in a night suit with the background score beginning halfway which was something we don’t expect from a director like him.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN YEH DIL MERA EP#4
With next weeks promo suggesting that Noor will work with Aman in his office , he it seems is going to give her a tough time and that we cant wait to see as more than Aangan here the on screen chemistry between Ahad and Sajal is magical as even with no dialogues in between their facial expressions are enough to commute what their characters are feeling in their hearts and that besides the intriguing plot is also what is pulling us towards Yeh Dil Mera every single week.
