Festivities in Pakistan are never ending, and dressing up is one of our favorite things to do as a nation. No matter where you come from and what you do, you find occasions where the only thing that matters is how you look!
Now whatever you may be wearing, if you are not wearing the right shoe, you have not nailed it but let’s face it sometimes shoes can be a real pain. Especially on occasions where you are walking and standing most of the time in high heels. Here are some of the things you can try for a wedding or a night out to avoid discomfort and pain while flaunting those heels!
- Use medical tape on toe 3 and 4 and tape them together. Sounds weird right? Well when in high heels it is known to help relieve pressure off the nerve that can create discomfort in the ball of your foot. However, try this at home first!
- For closed shoes try wearing insoles as they give some extra cushioning on the ball of your foot and heel, the two problem areas that can become very painful.
- Make sure you break into the shoes before wearing them for a long night out. You can do this by wearing them at home with socks and use a hair dryer to throw out some warm air onto the shoe which will help expand the leather a bit, making them more comfortable to wear.
- Do not wear high heels, pointy toes on blistered feet. Use a clear lip balm on those blisters and rub it in gently otherwise the heels won’t have mercy on those feet.
Have a look at HOBO by HUB‘s new festive collection, there are some really great sandals for the summers. However do try shoes in both the feet before buying them!
