So, episode 18 has opened up new chapters while clearing the clouds in Mehreen’s favor. Aswad has got a lot more to get upset as certain things have changed the whole scenario in front of him. Here is what happened in the latest episode!
When Mehreen was about to Take Poison!
She was upset after signing the affidavit that considered her a reason behind Mashal’s death. Mehreen had hallucinations of Mashal urging her to take the poison. When she was about to take the step, she heard the voice of her father stopping her to do so.
She wildly ran to him and cried out loud. The hallucination of her father proved a lifesaver, as he motivated her to stay strong no matter what. As he disappeared, Mehreen ran around to search him, and meanwhile, Aswad caught her in this upset condition.
Aswad couldn’t understand that what Mehreen is going through. She said that Mashal wants to kill me, and she has asked me to take in poison. Then she ran to her aunt and following the seriousness of her condition, they decided to take her to the hospital.
Doctor Made Aswad Open His Eyes!
As they shifted Mehreen to the hospital, the doctor told Aswad that she has been living through various mental health disorders. She has got a nervous breakdown, anxiety, depression, and her heartbeat is also not normal. These details left Aswad in shock and after Mehreen’s check-up, the doctor asked some serious questions from him. She discussed their marital relationship, any possibility of abuse from Aswad’s side, and it made him open his eyes. The doctor considered him mentally sick as well. He seemingly felt guilty yet couldn’t rest with the idea that Mehreen is innocent until he found the reality.
Aswad’s Visit To Mashal’s Place!
It seemed a bit odd that everyone was now talking in favor of Mehreen at Mashal’s place. Like, when Aswad met his grandmother, she slightly looked sicker than before. When Aswad asked about her health, she said that it was Mehreen who used to take care of me, and now there is no one like her. He was surprised and asked Nani that she had never spoken a word of favor before for Mehreen. She responded that when a person lives with you, it is hard to find that person valuable. However, it made Aswad conscious of what Mashal used to tell her about Mehreen and that he got to know from his Nani today. It was totally a contrast.
Mehreen’s Room — The Reality Zone!
Aswad was there to pick up Mehreen’s belongings as per Mashal’s mother’s instructions. She was not at home, so Shabbo led him to the room. When she tried to open the door, it was locked. Shabbo said that the keys will be with Shagufta Baji. Then she got to remember there was a duplicate key in Mashal’s room. This left Aswad curious about why Mashal had Mehreen’s room’s key. However, Shabbo couldn’t respond clearly. As she opened the room, it was a whole different world with wonders and talent that needed to be acknowledged.
Everything that Mashal used to pretend of her own, actually belonged to Mehreen. In the state of utmost shock, Aswad made Shabbo sit there and tell her the truth. She finally opened up everything, thus proving Mehreen innocent.
