DASTAAN:
Our personal favourite of the lot, is Dastaan: a tale of love, and blood, and tears. It is set against the backdrop of the pre-partition era and events leading up to it. The cast includes Fawad Khan, Sanam Baloch, Saba Qamar, Samina Pirzada and Ahsan Khan amongst others. Based on the novel by Bano Qudsia, and dramatised by Samira Fazal, Dastaan will make you fall in love with its authentic age-old vibe. However, it will make you cry too at the horrors faced by affected families during partition.
