There was so much fuss and hype surrounding the new Pixi On-The-Glow Blush Stick that we had to try it. From what I was seeing on TikTok, the insane radiance and glow was stimulus for me despite the fact that I have a moody skin.
Spoiler Alert: My review is pretty evident 🙂
Why Is It Going Viral?
Pixi’s On-The-Glow Blush Stick is a super hydrating formula that retains the moisture in your skin with the pigment, giving a flush that is noteworthy. This product is user-friendly because all you have to do is swipe it on your cheeks and comes in three shades (Fleur, a pretty pink; Juicy, a bright orange; and Ruby, a candy-colored red), exactly the kind of shades if you’re aiming for a certain look.
What’s In It?
he formula features a slew of nourishing ingredients like antioxidant-loaded ginseng, skin-soothing aloe, and fatty acid–rich castor oil. Other highlights include a handful of fruit extracts (like grape, blueberry, and apple) and camellia sinensis leaf extract (a.k.a. green tea), which is packed with skin-loving. vitamins A, C, E, and more. And since I have an acne-prone dry+sensitive skin, the paraben-free tag takes it one notch up!
How Do I Apply It?
It’s simple without any rocket science. Just twist it up until there is enough product out of the tube, also depending on how much you want. I like to “smile :)” when I’m applying blush, whether it’s powder or cream. With Pixi’s On-The-Glow Blush Stick, I just swipe and glide it in an upward motion on the apples of my cheeks (because I have a round face). Then I use a brush when I’m home, or when I’m on-the-go, my fingers to make it look more natural.
You can blend out the blush with a brush or your fingers so it looks natural. You can continue to build the pigment by layering the product on the apples of the cheeks until you get your desired result.
How Much Does It Cost?
If you’re based in Pakistan, the Pixie On-The-Glow Blush Stick will cost you between PKR 6,500 – 7,000 from a credible online makeup store.
SiddySays Thinks
Based on our personal use of this viral product, here’s an unbiased feedback on the Pixi On-The-Glow Blush Stick.
The formula applies easily, plus, the sticks can also be used on the lips, so it’s a versatile must-have makeup staple. The tinted balm is sheer, supple and feels comfortable on the skin. It doesn’t dry down or tighten but settles into the skin with a lightweight sheen and we guess that has a lot to do with the ingredients in it.
If you want to go for dewy look rich with moisture, go for it because it looks like your skin. But if you want a high-end look, go for a pigmented product.
