ASP Arsalan Finds Shaukat’s Father

The latter responds that he did not have enough money to do so and was threatened by the feudal lords to leave Jhok Sial. ASP is shocked to hear the officials charging money to file an FIR. He requests him to come to the police station and register the complaint for further action. ASP also tells Shaukat’s father that they have also recorded the statement of Iqbal (Shaukat’s best friend) which will make the case strong.

Jahan Dad is shocked to see Shaukat’s father in the police station. ASP Arsalan commands him to register the FIR and send him a copy at his office immediately. Jahan Dad as usual tries to get away with his duties and talks false about Shaukat. ASP puts him in his place by telling him the facts and truth. As the story progresses, ASP calls Noorie (Mamia Shahjaffar) stepfather and son at the station to inquire about Shaukat. Noorie’s family refuses to speak up therefore ASP locks both on their suspicious behavior.
ASP Arsalan Welcomes ASI Kudan Maseeh
A new police officer Kundan Maseeh (Faris Shafi) gets posted at Jhok Sial. He reports in the morning but is made to wait outside the whole day by Jahan Dad. Kundan tells him that he is mostly sidelined due to Christianity. ASP Arsalan makes it clear that his work and not his name are important to him. We all are equal at work, the uniform that we wear eliminates all the differences. ASP hopes that Kudan will be a great addition to the team.
SiddySays Thinks
Episode 13 provides crisp and solid entertainment. There’s never a dull moment, the narrative moves at a steady pace with something or the other happening. It was enlightening to see the much-needed respect given to Christian minorities. Farhan Saeed was the showstopper of the enterprise, he makes full use of this opportunity to make ASP Arsalan a memorable act in his shining portfolio. What’s great is that he is consistent with his act, his focus doesn’t get distracted, not even for a scene. Fahan Saeed is simply on fire. The promos of episode 14 give us jaw jaw-dropping visual of a faceoff between ASP Arsalan and Meeral (Usman Javed).
