corruption in Jhok Sial comes across as super refreshing. What makes the enterprise a
great watch is the powerful performance of the protagonist Farhan Saeed. 17 episodes
down Jhok Sarkar keeps a steady momentum and surprises viewers with crisp and fast-paced episodes.
ASP Arsalan Increases Police Security
ASP dodges Meeral (Usman Javed) and brings Mukhtara (Adeel Afzal) back to the police
station. Inspector Asghar (Mazhar Suleman) tells ASP that despite of being in remand for
48 hours, Mukhtara hasn’t uttered a single word. ASP explains that every person has a
breaking point and we have to take him towards it. ASP orders to give them a break during
the process as he wants him to go to court on his feet. He increases the security of the
police station as they have doubts that Meeral can attack anytime.
ASP Arsalan Grant’s Permission To Meet Mukhtara
Meeral sends his henchman Salamat to have a word with Mukhtara. Jahan's Dad (Malik
Raza) is sick and tired of Meeral but agrees to do so. He takes him to ASP and gives a false
statement that Salamat is related to Mukhtara. ASP grants permission only on one
condition that Jahan Dad would take his guarantee. He further orders Inspector Asghar to
keep an eye on them and overhear their conversation too.
ASP Arsalan & Sassi Meet Again
One of ASP’s constable invites him to his wedding and requests that he will be highly
honored if he attends. ASP agrees and wishes him luck. Sassi is also present at the
wedding, her friends are assuming that why would a high-ranked officer would attend a
constable's wedding. ASP proves them wrong, he attends the ceremony with excitement
and performs the traditional dance as well.

Jhok Sarkar rides high due to the compelling script by Hashim Nadeem and deft directions
by Safie Hassan. The icing on the cake is Farhan Saeed’s immaculate performance as ASP
Arsalan. He shifts gears and slips easily into a role that requires not just great acting chops
but also great physical strength. And Farhan scores full marks in both departments. It’s
hard to imagine any other than Farhan doing justice to a meaty part.
