Mahnoor Shahzad hails from Karachi and at just 24, she is one of the top-ranked Pakistani woman Badminton players amongst the top 133 women players in the world. For Mahnoor to earn a sport in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 this is [we quote] “a dream has certainly come to true. Alhumdulillah, I have been elected for Tokyo Olympics 2020. Mahnoor Shahzad has multiple titles and accolades to her credit:
- She won the Women’s Singles Champion at the 2017 Pakistan International Tournament
- Competed in the 2014 Asian Games
- Was a part of the 2018 Commonwealth Games
Mahnoor Shahzad had been chosen to participate in the Summer Olympics last year in 2020, however Covid-19 put a halt to her plans.
