Masarrat Misbah is a name to be reckoned with, in Pakistan, when it comes to the beauty and well-being. In the spirit of her commitment to the women of the nation, she has just launched her line of certified halal makeup by the name of Masarrat Misban Makeup also known as MM Makeup. You heard us right- certified halal makeup. What is halal makeup and how do you certify it?
According to an official release, the products do not use any haram animal substances or intoxicants in the entire collection which is how it is halal. How it is certified and by which official department authorized to certify such a thing remains unclear, as of now.
Speaking about her product line Masarat has said, “MM Makeup has become a reality after two years of research, primarily focused on a color range best adapted for the Asian skin tone, climate and complexion, with an emphasis on textures, colors, pigments and most importantly formulations.”
When asked about why she chose to create her own line of makeup, she responded, “It’s time that the beauty of a Pakistani woman be acknowledged for what it truly is and for her to know that when she applies my makeup, it was made especially for her”
Apart from just launching the brand, Masarrat has also launched her online website which will make purchasing the line easy for women all over Pakistan. Her range of cosmetics is available on cash on delivery and is limited to only Pakistan but plans on expansion for international clients and for credit card customers by June.
