Meri Shehzadi has been a triumph, be it the skyrocketing TRPs or highest views on YouTube, the political drama has successfully pulled in viewers from all across. Will the sugar-coated Dr. Hassan win Dania’s heart? Or will Shahroz realize his wrongdoings and return to Dania? Up until now, the striking chemistry between Dr. Hassan and Dania has given viewers a sigh of relief along with the hope that something good will happen in Dania’s life. Starring Urwa Hocane in the lead, Meri Shehzadi also stars Ali Rehman, Atiqa Odho Sonia Mishal and others. The story has been written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and directed by Qasim Ali Mureed.
DR. HASSAN CONTINUES TO WIN DANIA’S HEART
Dania (Urwa Hocane) visits the hospital for Sanaullah (Manzoor Qureshi) checkup. Dr. Hassan (Farhan Saeed) indirectly makes her realize that he has developed feelings for her. He feels that Dania is being rude to him but she denies it. She is unable to process the fact that Dr. Hassan gets very personal and talks about Shahroz (Ali Rehman). She thanks him for his kind advice but makes it clear that she is here for her grandfather’s treatment and that’s it. Eventually, Dr. Hassan has no option left but to send his proposal to Dania via Sanaullah. The latter is happy to know about this development but tells him that Dania’s decision will be final. Sanaullah has to get admitted again in the hospital for some more tests and treatment. Meanwhile, Dania continues her multitasking i.e. managing home and hospital together.
SANAULLAH CONVINCES DANIA TO ACCEPT DR. HASSAN’S PROPOSAL
Sanaullah finally breaks the silence and speaks to Dania on this matter. The latter however isn’t interested as she feels that all the people whom she loved in life either left the world or left her alone. She recalls that her mother passed away when she was born. Her grandmother died while fighting for her rights. Her father knew everything but he didn’t support her ever. And finally her husband Shahroz also failed in giving love and respect. She is unable to digest this situation that a person whom she just met randomly and doesn’t know much about him, how will he respect and stand by her side. Sanaullah makes a valid point that one has to trust someone in life, stepping back with the fear of losing won’t help in life. He further says that Dr. Hassan’s proposal is a gift of god and that she should consider it seriously.
SHAHANA USES ALL HER POWER TO DESTROY DANIA
Shahana (Atiqa Odho) goes all out to put an end to Dania. She isn’t able to bear Dania’s insult and that too in front of the common public. She calls her lawyer and seeks a suitable way of doing it. The lawyer comes up with an idea to declare Dania mentally unstable, if this works then Dania will lose both her children and career. Shahana asks him for some time to think about this. Shahana calls her secretary and requires his help. The latter fully agrees with her plans and acts accordingly. The first attack of this brutal campaign is a car accident, a truck hits Dania’s car but she remains safe and unharmed.
DR. HASSAN AWAITS DANIA’S DECISION
Dania visits the hospital to share the reports of Sanaullah. Dr. Hassan tells her that he has to undergo an open heart surgery, but due to his age and weight factor, they will continue his treatment on medicines. Dr. Hassan asks Dania about his wedding proposal that she didn’t accept. Dania says that some decisions are tough to make. Being a kind soul Dr. Hassan doesn’t give up and continues work on his mission to win Dania’s heart.
SIDDYSAYS THINKS
Meri Shehzadi (needless to say) rides solely on the shoulders of the showstopper Urwa Hocane who, yet again churns out a splendid performance. Urwa owns the story in the same superlative manner as much as she owns her character Dania. How she uses her eyes to convey emotions is simply outstanding. The impact of her character is so huge and magnetic that, by the end of every episode, it stays with you for a long time. With Meri Shehzadi, Urwa only reinforces what a brilliant actress she is. The teaser promo of episode 22 showcases more trouble for Dania. Will she be able to survive or become the victim of Shahana’s evil plans?
