It’s official, the Punjab government has banned dine-in services, however you can still enjoy outdoor eateries in Lahore and practice all safety measures as well as good food.
And since winters are here, because it’s the best time of the year to enjoy food in outdoor setups, we’re listing the top 8 outdoor eateries in Lahore.
KARAK KHEL
Karak Khel has become all the rage in the past one year and with an extension of a new branch in Gulberg, this upscale dhaba has become a very popular hangout for the Lahori crowd to come chill, jam and have chai. The food’s amazing as well with a cafe-like snack menu, but the highlight is the outdoor set up that can literally accommodate everyone.
SPICE BAZAAR
Spice Bazaar is synonymous to Pakistani style fine dining catering to our desi taste buds for local cuisine that are full of rich flavours. And although their Gulberg branch has a center set up, it is the new branch in Phase 6 that’s caught our attention because of a lavishly lit massive roof top with a breath taking view of Lahore’s skyline. Food with a view!
SERVICE LANE
This fun place called Service Lane on Nawaz Sharif Interchange between Phase 5/6 is a vibe in itself. The set up takes you in a mood with the ambiance, music, art work and start up food businesses so you can simply have a good time without getting into any formalities.
THE POET BOUTIQUE RESTAURANT
The Poet has caught everyone’s eye for its location because its close to Minar-e-Pakistan and offers some of the most scrumptious Mughali food that we’ve had in a while. What’s not to love about their outdoor setup, you get to soak in our city’s beloved history over good food.
CHIT CHAAT
Now who doesn’t love easy-to-eat quick desi fast food, food that a pakka Lahori loves, taway wala burger or a crispy samosa chaat. They also have a cute out door set if you want to just chill for a while over fuss-free food. Or just have nashta on a Sunday!
GO FLOUR
Even though Go Flour is a social enterprise that helps empower women by training them in vocational skills, they have a bakery and a limited but delicious menu that has salads, pizza, burger, and rotisserie chicken that I can’t get over. Moreover, their out set up gives off a welcoming feel with the aroma of freshly baked bread, just perfect for this time.
ANDAAZ
Andaaz Restaurant has a class of it’s own. The restaurant not just makes the best desi food in Lahore, but their customers also go there to soak in the view of a lit old Lahore city and Badshashi majid from their roof top seating.
PATLI GALI
Patli Gali (Phase 8) had to be in our list and even though we like the outdoor setup, they have drive in food service as well now just for your safety. So you can come and enjoy their delectable food.
