Pehli Si Muhabbat episode 1 has already crossed a million views on YouTube and all for the right reasons because this was the most anticipated Pakistani drama serials of 2021. Pehli Si Muhabbat episode 1 introduced a stellar cast with some young and veteran stars, exciting characters and a romantic plot that’s going to get thrilling with the upcoming episodes.
Since episode 1 introduced the main leads, it also brought in some action, foretelling us to what we should be expecting in the future episodes. But the underlying theme of drama is is “young love and the trials it has to go through” considering all the real world aspects like society, values, family setups and shared beliefs etc.
So without giving away too much, we’re going to give you 5 reasons why you should watch Pehli Si Muhabbat.
5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH “PEHLI SI MUHABBAT”
Maya Ali and Shehryar Munawar make one of the finest looking young couples onscreen, therefore to watch them come together in a television serial was really exciting. Their friendship translates really well onscreen and their first chaotic meeting in Pehli Si Muhabbat episode 1 also had chemistry. Sheheryar Munawar’s character Aslam instantly fell smitten with Maya’s character, Rakhsi and that’s what we can’t wait to watch, their young love unfold.
Ace fashion designer, HSY is debuting in Pehli Si Muhabbat. He plays the role of Akram, Aslam’s elder brother who is very religiously inclined, however the first episode has quickly established the fact that Akram is not an easy man and is prone to resorting to violence and fanaticism if he sees anything opposing according to his religious views. We like how HSY has imbibed the avatar with his body language, a prayer cap and a mark of prostration on his forehead. He’s married to Nausheen Shah’s character. And we’re looking forward to his role and how he’ll reveal more of “Akram”.
We liked how all the characters that have been introduced in Pehli Si Muhabbat episode 1 are shown as they are. There aren’t any layers to each individuals role which makes it even more interesting because this way you kind of know what to expect.
For eg. Sheheryar’s role is that of a young 2o-something boy who’s rough and tough, looks and behaves larger than life, but with principles, and wears his heart on his sleeve. Maya, on the other hand, comes off as an emotional college going girl, trying to put up a brave face for the world, but deep inside she’s scattered after losing her mother and unable to deal with the idea of her father’s second marriage to (probably) a dancer (played by Rabia Butt). So, the main leads have portrayed their role to the T.
We loved the OST of Pehli Si Muhabbat and it’s sung by Ali Zafar. We love how the song doesn’t give away too much about the plot, but it keeps you engrossed in the melody and lyrics so subtly and intensely in Ali Zafar’s voice.
Pehli Si Muhabbat is a complete love story and we all love a good tale that has young romance culminated with dooriyan and majbooriyan, budding romance between two neighbors, the stolen gazes and the love letters, poetry, intensity – everything that enthralls two lovers about forbidden romance.
