So like all girls, we love dressing up, and working round the clock we are usually pressed for time to store hop and find what we like in different stores. Which is why raiding the Ideas store in Defence Lahore was an exciting proposition.
Even though the store is multi stories, divided into various sections of home and apparel we headed straight to our destination floor, the ready to wear section.
I for one was not expecting the variety in terms of colors, fabrics, looks that the Ideas Pret has. From a linen tunic for work during day to silk kurtis for evenings and even semi formal to heavy formal wear in a range of colors and designs is really a one stop solution for women like me.
The digital dreams collection is for the modern, urban woman who leads a multi facted life. A range well suited for the college going to the office going woman, these digital kurtis are chic, comfortable and affordable keeping it easy on the eyes and the pocket.
The silk tunics, also available in digital prints are a more formal evening wear that can be paired with either a traditional shalwar or a nice pair of bootcuts creating different looks depending on the occasion.
The more formal wear does justice to almost every occasion. Be it Eid, an engagement party or even a wedding there is design galore. These pieces are either machine or hand embroidered with beautiful embellishments that are subtle and not over the top, just the way we like it! There is good attention to detail with accessories such as pattis and buttons and of course the quality of both fabric and embroidery is quite high. There is also the choice of buying a full 3 piece ready to wear suit or just a jacket to throw on for a less traditional occasion!
