Celebrations are in order for the Pakistani film fraternity because one of our leading ladies, Saba Qamar has earned her golden ticket as she has been nominated in the highest grossing category; BEST ACTOR FEMALE IN A LEADING ROLE for HINDI MEDIUM in the 63rd Jio Filmfare Awards 2018. The superstar Shahrukh Khan and the notorious Karan Johar will be the magnanimous hosts of the show that is going to officially commence the Indian award show this year.
Saba Qamar essayed the role of Mita alongside Irfan Khan and belongs to the nouveau-riche, and one day rises to the status of an elite when their business takes off. Mita’s desire is to put her daughter, Pia in one of the most privileged English medium schools by any possible means so she can smoothly fit it. But things end up otherwise for them, which lead to humorous situations and sentiments of a Chandni Chowk girl with social climbing aspirations.
