Following the successful launches of their flagship stores in Karachi and Lahore, Sapphire will be launching its Islamabad store on the 4th of July 2015. Led by Khadijah Shah of Élan, the Sapphire Eid Collection is ready to hit the stores and we really like what we see!
Sapphire Lawn – Eid Collection infuses pastel and jewel tones coupled with bursts of floral, oriental, ethnic and boho chic patterns reflecting an eclectic bohemian spirit. The colour palette of this collection, consisting of 15 designs, varies between light pastel hues of blues, lilacs and pinks transitioning to a pop of colour ranging from bright pinks, yellows and royal blues. A classic addition to this collection is a series of white on white designs.
A variety is given with the fabrics including the choice of 4 and 3 piece suits: pairing of silk dupattas, lawn with chiffon dupattas, printed trousers, voile dupatta and plain dyed trousers respectively. To add a formal touch as Eid attire, the collection uses embellishments and embroidered patches too.
“I have designed the Eid collection keeping in mind the current trends with a colour palette which has a lot of variations. Eid is a festive occasion for everyone and as it is in summers there are more florals, oriental and ethnic prints for this collection. The embroidered patterns, necklines and borders have been added complementing the designs, ” commented Khadijah Shah.
