The most comfortable piece of footwear there is. When buying boots make sure that opt for monochrome as they tend to be used far more than printed boots. Opt for leather as it is hard wearing and can be polished and repaired. Suede, though a personal favourite requires upkeep and care. I have to spray my boots every time I step out to avoid water damage and what not.
My favourite boots are a pair I found on sale at Clarks, which are navy blue suede but they are worth the trouble as they are wholly comfortable. Make sure you buy boots from a boot maker or a proper shoemaker versus a designer pair that is likely to injure your feet and is wholly impractical. Boots are a long-term investment!
